Dear Friends,
The Tortoise Method course by GM Boris Gelfand is coming close to an end. Boris will give two classes this week – one on Thursday and the other one on Sunday. Both will start at 3:50 PM UK time. The final class of the course will be on the 4th of October, from 5 PM UK time.
The online camp with GM Renier Castellanos will start this Thursday and will last until Sunday. He will explore the games of José Raúl Capablanca and his enormous influence on positional play.
Training will start every day at 5 PM UK time and will include three sessions of 1 hour each. There will be two 15 minutes breaks between sessions. More details about the camp can be found here.
New and renewed yearly members between the 26th of June and the 24th of September will receive this camp for free, as a welcome gift. Everyone else who would like to take part in the camp will need to purchase the camp in our shop. The price for participating is €148 for existing members of Killer Chess Training and €297 for everyone else (includes a month’s complimentary membership of the academy).
Please note that you can purchase the camp any time you want before the 27th of September. Once the camp is over, it will be removed from the shop and no longer possible to buy.

All eyes are on the Olympiad these days. As you probably know, many of our coaches and academy members are in Samarkand. Coach Sabino is playing for the Italian team. Vladimir Akopian is the captain of the UAE open team, Swayams the captain of the Indian women’s team. Mykhaylo is helping out the Ukrainian teams.
Prin is having a very good tournament so far on the 1st board of Thailand. In the first round, he defeated Arjun Erigaisi. Check out his performance so far here. Tarun is defending the 1st board of team Ireland. Trisha is the 1st board of the women’s team. Caleb is playing on board 2 of team South Africa. Many other current and former members are also playing and we wish everyone the best of luck!
