The games and examples that GM Ivan Sokolov used in his camp are available on Chesstempo for all yearly members who took part in his camp. If you are a yearly member, but don’t have access to our files on Chesstempo yet, please contact us and tell us your username.
Jacob will have two High Level Practical Training classes this week. The first one will happen on Thursday 8th and the second one on Friday 9th. Both will start at 12:30 PM UK time.
GM Stany is back from the one-month tournament circuit where he accompanied his students and will return with Tricky Positions this Friday, from 3 AM UK time.
John Hartmann has tried the new Chessbase ’26 and will tell you all about it this Sunday 11th from 4 PM UK time.
We will have an in-person camp in 2026. The camp will take place in the 4* resort Zoraida Garden in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, between the 17th and the 24th of May. Your trainers will be GM Jacob Aagaard, GM Renier Castellanos and GM Julen Arizmendi. GM and former Women’s World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk will be our special guest this edition. She will give a masterclass, a simul and play friendly blitz games with participants.

Some members and former members are in Roquetas de Mar right now, playing the international open that is organised every year at the beginning of January. Shahil is currently on 5/6. Alejandro on 4.5. You can watch the live games here.
Arshiya is headed to Serbia. She will play a rapid tournament on the 9th. Starting from the 10th, she will take part in the GM mix 12 open tournament.
