The schedule of the academy is returning to normal after a month of intense training. After a month’s absence, GM Vladimir Akopian is returning with his course on Creative Thinking. He has been playing in the US senior Championship, which he won for a second year in a row!
Eli added another 194 points to his rating in Andorra. In just one month and three tournaments, he went from a rating of 1695 to 1970!
Michael Schimmer played in two tournaments over the past nine days. In Dresden, he played in the C-Final of the German Amateur Championships, a 5 round swiss tournament. He started ranked 47th and ended 23rd. Well done, Michael! After that, he drove to Prague to play in the International Chess Holiday a nine-round round-robin tournament. He finished 6th, on 50%.
Alejandro Domingo and a few other members played in Granada.
Yahli is playing the European Junior Championship in Montenegro.
Jan Szumiek is playing in the B section of Arad Open. Many other members are playing in section A.
Shahil is co-leading the Leca Chess Open.
