Dear Friends,
We are starting 2025 with a lot of chess! On Wednesday, Jacob will begin the Bloody New Year camp. The theme will be attack and it will be open to all members of the academy.
Speaking about camps, we will organise an in-person camp in May 2025 in Spain, in Roquetas de Mar! The venue will be a 4-star resort located right next to the beach. The camp is open to anyone, members and non-members of the academy. We are aiming to have a combination of chess and holiday, that both chess players and their families can enjoy. All the details are available on our website, here.
After the camp, we will have an open tournament. We are still finalising all the details and will soon update everything on the website.

Renier and Raluca are headed to Spain, to play the very strong Roquetas Chess Festival . It starts on the 2nd of January. Who else is playing?
As 2024 is coming to an end, we are looking back incredibly proud of your achievements. We were happy to see every rating gain, norm scored and medal won. We hope more will come in 2025! We wish you a new year filled with growth, wise decisions and success!
