Congratulations to your trainer, GM Sabino Brunello for winning the Open del Salento in Gallipoli!
Sam Shankland will be playing in Prague Masters. It’s unfortunate that Christopher Yoo had to cancel his participation in the Prague Masters, but we know he will have more opportunities in the future.
Mickey Adams is playing in Germany, and Alexander Motylev will be playing for Romania in the future. Members were playing all over the map, including in the National Open in Las Vegas. Tell us about your results on the forum!
Jacob was busy in Charlotte, where he participated in a camp organised by the wonderful team of Charlotte Chess Center. The CCC’s 6th Annual Elite Camp is underway, featuring 4 top trainers: Former World Champion Veselin Topalov, GM Alex Onischuk, GM Jacob Aagaard, and GM Daniel Naroditsky. Students rated 1800-2400 from 17 states were in the mix; many Killer Chess Training members among them!
GM Julen Arizmendi’s course “Analyse my tournament” is a great chance for players to receive expert analysis and feedback on their games. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and share their games with GM Arizmendi. Use the forum to get in touch!
Speaking of camps, we will organise two online camps focused on chess strategy in July and August.
FOUNDATIONS OF POSITIONAL PLAY with GM Jacob Aagaard, July 10th to Friday, July 14th with three hours of daily coaching. It will be aimed at u2100 players, but everyone who feels they need to work on the basics will be welcome.
AN INVESTIGATION OF CHESS STRATEGY by GM Sam Shankland. This camp will be held from 31st August to 3rd September. Sam will explain the foundations of chess strategy over 4 sessions of three hours each.
