Dear Friends,

We are beyond excited about the camp and tournament that will start next week in Spain! You can still decide last minute and join us, if you want.

The camp will begin on Saturday 3rd. So far 23 participants have registered. You can find the list here.

We will have a transfer for participants who arrive on the 3rd of May at Malaga airport. The bus will leave around 6:30 PM local time, after everyone has landed. If you need a transfer and haven’t already told us your arrival time, please do so by the end of the week.

We kindly ask participants in the camp to send us their games at [email protected], so that Jacob, Renier and Julen can use them for the training sessions.

GM Ruslan Ponomariov will be a guest on the 7th and 8th of May and will give a lecture, a simul and will play blitz with the participants.

The tournament will begin on the 10th of May and will have 9 rounds. The provisional list of registered players is here. It is not fully updated yet, but we will update it constantly. Full regulations are available on our website.

You can still register for the camp, tournament or both by sending us an email at [email protected] or by filling in this form.

You can also contact us at the same email address about any questions that you might have.

Many of our members and coaches have been busy playing. A lot of members were in Reykjavik Open. Niilo gained 33 rating points to reach a new high of 2301.

Renier and Roel met over the board in round 2 of San Vicente de Raspeig Open. You can see their game here.

Szymon scored 5/9 in Malakoff Open.

Kirk is playing on board 1 against Nihal Sarin in Menorca Open. Sam is on 2.5/3, after drawing against former member Andre Sousa in the 2nd round. You can follow their games here.

Have you been playing any tournaments? We want to know!  Let us know on the forum or on social media.
