Dear Friends,
The games GM Ivan Sokolov used in his camp are available in Chesstempo for those who have attended the camp. Speaking about Chesstempo – a reminder to tell us your username! There are a lot of requests from people we don’t know in Chesstempo right now. If you are one of them, reach out to us and we will set up your account.
Jacob returns this month with more High Level Practical Training and Advanced Calculation classes.
A reminder for our members in the US to double check the timings of the classes for next week! The Daylight Saving time starts this Sunday and it will affect some of the class schedule.
We are offering discounts for groups of 3 or more people who want to attend our in-person camp in Spain! If you have any friends who want to come to our camp, send us an email at [email protected] and ask for more details.
The camp will take place in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, from 3rd until 9th of May. It is open to absolutely everyone, members and non-members of the Killer Chess Training Academy. There is also no rating limit and anyone, regardless of their level can participate.
Your trainers will be GM Jacob Aagaard, GM Julen Arizmendi and GM Renier Castellanos. Check out our website for all the details!
After the camp we will have an international open. It will begin on the 10th. It will have 9 rounds and it will be possible to get norms. Renier and Julen will also play in the tournament. Full regulations are available on our website.

We received awesome news from our members this week. Matías Pérez just became Chilean champion! He finished undefeated, scoring 9.5 points out of 11. See his performance here.
Arshiya has been playing in Europe and adding more points to her rating. She won over 70 points so far in Graz and Cannes Opens. With this, she crossed the 2100 mark and will soon receive the WFM title.
Aradhya had a great performance in Cannes as well and finished second, with 7/9!
Sam is playing in Prague. Today was a rest day, but you can follow him tomorrow, from 3 PM local time.
Yahli is facing the leader today on board 1 of the FIDE World Junior. He is currently on 5/6. Trisha won a very nice game and checkmated her opponent to reach 4.5/7. Good luck, Trisha and Yahli for the final 4 rounds!
