Dear Friends,

We will have a new online camp in November, between the 19th and the 22nd. Nikos Ntirlis will show fresh opening ideas, new improvements, and practical weapons for your 1.e4 repertoire. Join him and discover how to put maximum pressure on your opponents without memorizing endless theory, and explore the latest developments ahead of the new edition of Reimagining 1.e4.

Training will start every day at 5 PM UK time and will include three sessions of 1 hour each. There will be two 15 minutes breaks between sessions. More details about the camp can be found here.

New and renewed yearly members between the 25th of September and the 19th of November will receive this camp for free, as a welcome gift. Everyone else who would like to take part in the camp will need to purchase the camp in our shop. The price for participating is €148 for existing members of Killer Chess Training and €297 for everyone else (includes a month’s complimentary membership of the academy).

Please note that you can purchase the camp any time you want before the 22nd of November. Once the camp is over, it will be removed from the shop and no longer possible to buy.

This Saturday we will have a Playing Position simul with GM Sabino Brunello, from 5 PM UK time. All participants will start from a given position that Sabino will have to defend. The actual starting position will be set-up a few minutes before the start of the simul. If you would like to play, you will need to join our Simuls team. Please do this well in advance and mention your name and membership email with your request. The link for the simul will be made available on Saturday on the academy’s website. It will also be sent via lichess message.

If you are a yearly member and have not received access to the Chesstempo files yet, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected] and tell us your Chesstempo username. You will also need to add kct academy as a coach on Chesstempo.

In 2027, we will again have an in-person camp. It will take place from May 8th to 13th in Roquetas de Mar, Spain. The venue will be the four-star Zoraida Garden resort.

GMs Jacob Aagaard, Renier Castellanos, and Julen Arizmendi are looking forward to welcoming you next year. We will also have a special guest, who will be announced later.

Participants will be divided into two groups, with the coaches rotating between them. There will also be short one-on-one sessions, giving participants the opportunity to go over their games with the coaches, ask questions, and receive personalized advice.

More details are available on the camp’s website. Accommodation will once again be all-inclusive. Prices are available under the Register → Accommodation tab. The hotel will make the room booking link available soon, and we will add it to the website as soon as it is provided. Please note that all participants are required to stay at the hotel for the duration of the camp. The fees can be consulted here.

If you would like to join us, please fill in the registration form, and we will get back to you with all the details. All participants who register and pay the fee before February 15th, 2027 will receive a gift consisting of six books. Four of them will be available to pick from a list, while two will be with free choice.

The Zoraida Garden resort is currently hosting the FIDE World U7-U17 Championships. Best of luck to Jan Szumiec, who is fighting in the U11 group age! You can follow him here.

Prin is currently on 4/7 in the 2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports. Games are available here. Good luck to him for the final rounds!

We know that many of you are busy playing. Let us know where you are, so we can follow and root for you!
