As a club player (~1850 FIDE) who was mostly self taught, I never got to know the canon of classic chess games that most titled players are familiar with. As a kid I was shown a few famous Morphy games and some of the 1972 Fischer - Spassky games, but not much else. I’m sure many other club players can relate!
I’d love to see a “Game of the Week” type class that covers these classic games that every strong player knows, from Morphy up to present day “modern classics”, not only to become a better player but also to appreciate chess history more.
