Dear Friends,
We hope that you are as excited as we are about this summer! The Summer Homework club will start soon, on the 30th of June. Because of this, no new “regular” homeworks will be uploaded on the friendly and killer homework pages until the end of July. The Summer Homework Club includes daily homework, for 5 days/ week between the 30th of June and 1st of August. We will be using old friendly and killer homeworks. Once you solve them, you can submit your answers and Renier will mark them. On Mondays Renier will mark the killer homework; from Tuesday to Friday he will mark the friendly homeworks. You can submit the killer homework until Sunday at midnight wherever you are and the friendly until midnight on the corresponding date. This means that you will have the whole weekend to solve the killer homework (it will be uploaded Thursday night) and 1 day to solve the friendly homeworks. You will find the videos with solutions on the summer homework club page.
Starting the 14th of July until the 18th, GM Jacob Aagaard will hold a camp on Tal. It will be open to all members, both monthly and yearly. He will also create special homework sheets that will contain puzzles from Tal’s games that week.
Out next online camp will be between the 25th and 29th of August, with GM Sabino Brunello. More information will be available on the website very soon. As usual, it will be free for all new yearly members. If you have bought a yearly membership or renewed after the 20th of February and haven’t received a free camp yet, we will add Sabino’s to your account.
Speaking about Sabino, a reminder about the Playing Position simul this weekend! To join the simul, you need to first be in this team. Please mention your name and membership email when you apply for it. The link for the simul will be made available 10 minutes before the start.
We know that many of you are busy playing. Let us know on the forum or social media where you are, so we can follow and root for you!
