Most of our team is still in Spain, where the in-person camp finished last Friday. We want to thank everyone who joined us for your wonderful company this past week. We had a really great time. We really enjoyed having you here and we hope to see you again, if not for a camp, then at a tournament, putting the chess world on fire!

We are fully aware that we did not do everything perfectly at the camp and we will spend good time reflecting on the tournament and the feedback we received. We will send out feedback forms. Please take them seriously and be meticulous on what you felt was good and what you felt was less so. We already have some ideas on how to improve things, but your feedback is important. We are analytical people and promise to spend more time talking about the feedback than you will spend writing it. So, please help us out.

Kallia and Raluca have taken hundreds of pictures and all will be available in the gallery, on our website. Unfortunately, the hotel wi-fi is very unstable and they were unable to upload all of them yet. We know you’re all very eager to see them – they will be available soon.

Renier, Julen, Stanislaw, Doug, Luke and Miguel are playing the 2nd Killer Chess Training Open. Renier is currently leading with 4.5/5 and Julen is facing Stanislaw as we speak. 10 out of the 17 boards are live and you can watch them here.

Raluca is the deputy arbiter and taking care of the live broadcast.

We have awesome news from our members! Danier He won the Larry Evans Memorial with 5.5/6!

Former member Caleb Levitan is waiting for his IM title to get approved, after having completed all 3 norms and crossing the 2400 mark. We wish him all the best in future tournaments and hope to hear about him getting the GM title soon!

Have you been playing any tournaments? We want to know!  Let us know on the forum or on social media.
