Dear Friends,
We are happy to announce that the dates for our next in-person camp have been confirmed! It will take place from May 8th to 13th in Roquetas de Mar, Spain. The venue will be the same as last year: the four-star Zoraida Garden resort.
GM Jacob Aagaard, Renier Castellanos, and Julen Arizmendi are looking forward to welcoming you next year. We will also have a special guest, who will be announced soon.
Participants will be divided into two groups, with the coaches rotating between them. There will also be short one-on-one sessions, giving participants the opportunity to go over their games with the coaches, ask questions, and receive personalized advice.
More details are available on the camp’s website. Accommodation will once again be all-inclusive. Prices are available under the Register → Accommodation tab. The hotel will make the room booking link available soon, and we will add it to the website as soon as it is provided. Please note that all participants are required to stay at the hotel for the duration of the camp. The fees can be consulted here.
If you would like to join us, please fill in the registration form, and we will get back to you with all the details. All participants who register and pay the fee before February 15th, 2027 will receive a gift consisting of six books. Four of them will be available to pick from a list, while two will be with free choice.
With the Olympiad over, the schedule in the academy is getting back to normal.
GM Boris Gelfand has concluded his course, The Tortoise Method, last Sunday. The Chesstempo file is fully updated and recordings will be available to all members for free for three more weeks.
All yearly members who have taken part in Renier’s online camp about Capablanca and have told us their Chesstempo username have the camp files in their account.
If you are a yearly member and have not set up your Chesstempo account yet, please get in touch with us at [email protected] or [email protected] and tell us your Chesstempo username! Apart from this, you will need to also add kct academy as a coach on Chesstempo.
A few members are in Eforie Nord, playing the Romanian Team Championship.
Other current and former members are playing Fagernes International Open in Norway.
We know that many of you are busy playing. Let us know where you are, so we can follow and root for you!
Your friends from Killer Chess Training
